New NSO representative- Meghan Maiwald

Hi! We are excited to introduce our newest Board member, Meghan Maiwald! Thank you to everyone who applied for the national sport organization (NSO) representative position. Meghan was selected by a majority of the NSO during a election meeting. A 13 year veteran of the U.S. Deaf Women’s Soccer team and a long time Board member of USA Deaf Soccer, Meghan brings a lot of experience and knowledge of deaf sports to the Board. Meghan is currently the Gallaudet women’s soccer assistant coach and also works at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf as a strength and conditioning coach, physical education and health teacher. She joins the board as a national sport organization representative where she will be the liaison between USADSF and our NSOs. Please welcome Meghan!

Finally, USADSF wants to make a special shout out to an individual who helped USADSF tremendously with the 75th anniversary event. Shelby Sanchez from RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). Thank you so much for your time and contribution to USADSF! We appreciate you!
